Pay Citations Online State Court Itinerary 2024 The State Court is a trial court with limited jurisdiction covering arraignments and trials for misdemeanor offenses and traffic violations, fish and game violations, Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) and civil actions unless the Superior Court has exclusive jurisdiction. Judge David Kendrick presides over State Court. Arraignments are held on the third Monday of each month and non-jury trials are held on the fourth Monday of each month. Jury trials are held the fourth week in January, March, June and September. All State Court cases are heard at the Decatur County Courthouse which is located at 112 West Water Street in Bainbridge. Bonds are allowed with certain violations in lieu of a court appearance. Such bond issuances apply only to those cases made by Georgia State Patrol and the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. Bainbridge Municipal Court cases handles cases made by Bainbridge Public Safety. Solicitor General, Ben Harrell, prosecutes cases presented in Decatur County State Court. Chief Assistant Solicitor General, Jami Lewis, also prosecutes cases presented in Decatur County State Court. Public Defender’s Office
